BW inventory data load.

Hi BW gurus,

My scenario is somwhat defferent. I have a client who is using BW from past 2 yrs. and now he wants to erase all the old data just because their initial upload was incorrect and they have not checked it after that. So they want to initialize it again but want to see data from this month onwards,they want to forget all the previous data. If i go for initialization of inventory data is there any option given for time setup?

Previously i have done selective deletion but not initialization. This i will be doing for the first time. Kindly help me with the same.

Yes, you get the option to put time period for which you want to initialize/run the setup. This option you will get on the Inventory initialization screen.

Do i need to take care of anything else regarding to this? As they already are running BW from past 2 yrs. Will it not hamper my opening stock? i mean i am not clear with this.

Can you just help me with any document or so before i go ahead with the same.
