migo - excise tab not came

Hi,

While doing migo, the excise tab is not coming.. pls advise how to get it..

hello,

1. Check the display tax in the invoice tab - PO item data, whether the taxes are flowing or not.

2.If it is not, then maintain the J1ID - Material & chapter ID combination, vendor excise details & excise tax rates for Chapter Id.

3.Check the specify MVt types involves excise invoices in IMG - Logistics general - tax on goods & mvts - India - business transactions - Incoiming excise invoices - Specify which mvt type involves excise invoices. Here maintain the Mvt type 101.

Hi

It is going to determine weather the material is used as an INPUT/OUTPUT in that plant.

Also If you receive this material as Input and in by whcih material it will be despatched that is specified as output mtrl

Eg

Material GEAR BOX is received with excise then you need to define by what way you are sending out that material from the plant in out put determination, say if you have used to get BUS ASSEMBLE, then in input you maintain GEARBOX and IN OUT PUT MAINTAIN AS BUS ASSEMBLE

Even if all the required settings are maintained for the excise, then check the OSS note no ; 1079123 - Excise tab not getting displayed in MIGO.

Ensure All the Following Details are Maintained in J1ID Chapter Id :

Maintain Material & Chapter-Id Combination

Maintain CENVAT Determination

Maintain Exchages Tax Rates

Maintain Excise Indicator for Plant

Maintain Excise Indicator for Plant & Vendor Combination

Maiantain Vendor Excise Details etc....

Hi

you need to maitain all the conitions in sequence found in the T.code; J1ID.

Also check the movement type which you are using is maitained for excise.

If both thing is O.K then you will sur get it.

Maintain 1. material chapter id comb

2.maontain output determination

3. maintain vendor excise detail with Indicator 1

4. Maintain excise rate maintainance

Hi,

If your material is cenvatble, I got it cenvat credit.

then you maintain mateiral in cenvat determination.

Other wise not maintian it in cenvat determination.

For more detail about cenvatble or non cenvatble, please contact with your excise person.

please check two things.

In J1ID t-code

Material Chapter id,

Vendor excise detail

If it is not maintain, Maintain it then try to create MIGO.
