How to point to Portal tabs?

Hi,

There is one special requirement from the User.The User want us to create a Page in the Portal That page should be containing two Links.One Link should point to an external web page and the other one should point to the existing tab in the Portal.The first requirement can be fulfilled easily by creating a KM Document iview and adding the URL to the KM page but I am not able to find out the solution how we can point to a tab itself in the Portal through a link? The tab is itself a Role .

Please suggest.

Thanks for the Reply.I have tried to doit simply and able to point to the Portal tab using the below URL:

/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/Collaboration/com.sap.netweaver.coll.Collaboration/com.sap.netweaver.coll.RoomDirectory/com.sap.netweaver.coll.RoomDirectory

Through this URL we are successfully able to point to that particular page.But once we point to that page and try to refersh the page (or try to referesh the page after clicking on any other tab).The cursor again point to the same tab.We are not getting back to the old state.Do you have any ideas.

Hi,

For the second requirement of pointing to a role. You can use EPCM to achieve this.
