Applying the corrections given in the SAPNOTE

gurus ,

i found a solution to my problem in an SAPNOTE . in that they have given to apply a correction .

but so far i have not applied any correctins .

how to apply that .

i need to apply note 1036427 & 1011377 ....

ikindly guide me how to apply the corrections given in that

i want to know how to applky the corrections given in that note .

if i click on the corrections , a separate window is opened , there it shows the TADIR entry , PROGRAMID , OBJECTID , OBJECT NAME .

when i click on the objectname link it shows me the "code blocks" to be deleted /added /modified ..

but how to find out the program in which these code changes need to be changed .

Hi Susin.

I check both the notes , there is no need of manual coding to that as per my knowledge.

These notes are processed by the system itself.

Pls goto SNOTE ( tcode) then in the menu -> goto -> download sap note.

give the sap note number there and click ok , then it will be downloaded and can be seen in under sap -> New .

Then go into New and select the sap notes that downloaded and execute.

If there are any manual interventions needed then the system will specify that .

Then after executing the note will come under sap - In processing.

If the green tick mark comes the notes is successfully implemented other a waring or error message comes , if error message comes then click on that you will see what all are missing.

Pls kindly let me know what error messages you are getting after executing the note so that we can help you to implement the note successfully.

do we need to follow the same procedure for every systems in the landscape .

that is in development system we need to download and then apply

for quality again we need to download and then apply

No, You do not need to implement in all system. You have to assign a workbench request to notes and transport it to other system.

currently we have problem in the oss connection , henc unable to download the note vis SNOTE

but one doubt , after implementing the SAP NOTE , will the transport request be generated automatically during the implementation ?

If you are sure about these NOTE than you can implement direct in your live system, so than in future you can also delete them by just RFC request comarision with DEV if needed.

When you will implement the note, it will ask for a transport request to be assigned. So you can assign a new request and later transport it to other system.

requires OSS ID to login.

Get the Notes related data from SAP Service Market Place like relevant corrections as per the version you are in and the INCLUDE NAMES where you have to insert/delete the code.

Get the access key for those programs with the help of the Basis team,once you get the access key you will be able to enter the program in EDIT mode.

Then go to corresponding include and apply the changes as mentioned in the note.It will ask for a creation of a transport request.Once the changes are done save/activate it.

Move this request to Quality and then to Production.

when i look into the corrections i dont see the program name or include name in which i need to modify...

kindly look into the note 1036427 , 1011377 ....i need to apply the corrections given in this note ..

Check the Correction Instructions to get the Object Names.

Hi,

Use tcode SNOTE to download and implement the note. Check the corrections, if there is any manual work involved then you will have to get access key from support portal or else you can implement the note directly.
