how does SAP system math used to calculate the purchase ABC classification code?

what would be needed to routinely maintenance those codes?

Hi,

Can activate ABC Analysis for Cycle Counting (Phys. Inv.) in folowing path:

Logistics -> Material Management -> Physical Inventory- >Special procedures -> Cycle Counting > Set CC indicator

cycle counting indicator set for the material and are based on material consumption (usage) values......my question is how does sys calculates the consumption values..does it uses some formula in the background.....how we can get the values.....do we have to maintain the values some where ...help me ...thanks

Hi Bob,

The consumption values are defined in the MMR(Material master record) for the material in the additional data tab ...and use the tick for ABC classification...

The system determines all the consumption values from here only.....
