Depreciation methods are used for formulating the calculation formula for depreciation calculation for assets.

    Hi Amar,

I donĀ“t get the point. You ask "why" all this has to be set up? The answer to this question is: to be able to calculate the depreciation amounts as automated as possible, considering the most used and common accounting rules of the customers.

Do you have a concrete question to the Depreciation Key configuration?

    Regards,

    Markus

    Hi Amar,

First you have to know the depreciation rules you want to use. When you have copied an existing Chart of depreciation then you can delete the ones you don't need and/or create new ones.

For the most countries you need only 3 to 10 different depreciation rules
