Hi,

As you are on Oracle 10g, please make sure you have performed the below activities:

1) Setup all the database parameters correctly as per note 830576. Run the attached script in the note and check accordingly.

2) Have you collected SYSTEM DB and DB Dictionary Statistics as described in note 838725?

3) Do you have the latest Optimizer patch as mentioned in note 981875?

Best regards,

Warren

Hi Ahmed,

It means the system performance must be ok.The problem is due to your Database performance. As told by Sergo you need to perform check DB from Db13 and after it you can go for the update statistics.Apart from this you can go for sgen also to take a try.

Thanks,

Satyabrat

Dear Sergo Beradze,

First, thanks for reply,

I already check ST02 and I changed some parameters but nothing changes,

Regarding DB13 we are not yet implemented BR*Tools, for sm21 I canu2019t see any errors or warnings related for this issue,

Anyway while I run these procedures I can see from OS Level with windows Task Manager Processes tape page, Oracle.exe took 99% of CPU, otherwise this hanging only with this transaction code,

My windows operating system is 64 bit

"Regarding DB13 we are not yet implemented BR*Tools"

try to implemete it. You need to do "update database statistics" (we do it every day). May be it helps, also

"check DB" gives you other information about this problem.

Are you check alert_sid.log ? Regards.

Hello. try to check ST02 all are OK? Also in DB13 "check db" are OK? Your OS are 32 or 64? In windows "event logs" all are OK? The memory you use are? In SM21 and ST22 any messages or dumps? Any other slow transactions or only this? In Oracle alert_sid.log errors(before check "check db" in DB13? Regards.
