Message Maintanence in Service PO

Hi,

I've maintained message (06-076) setting as Error Message.

After that, while Creation of Material PO - referring PR -- which is exceeding the PR qty...System issuing the error message as

" Materials of requisition & item & alr. ordered in full "

which is OK.

Second case..

Service PR as below:

Line #10 - Service - 1 AU(Activity Unit)

under which Services in Itel Level - Service of PCs - 1000 NO

By referring that PR -Service PO creation for line#10 , But PO creation exceeding service qty to 1200 Nos instead of 1000(PR qty), system is not giving any message(err0r or warning). How to make this setting..

message 06 076 Materials of requisition & item & alr. ordered in full

is issued if the purchase requisition was already fully ordered (e.g. in a different PO).

This message has nothing to do with the fact that you exceed the PR quantity.

MAybe 06078 can help you to restrict the exceeding .
