Role Assignment through CUA central system leading to User Validity change

Hi All,

We have a critical issue, where mass Role assignment from CUA central lead to validity date change for users.

Could you suggest the reason behind this

FYI, Validity date is set to Global in Central CUA systems

By mass user role assignment, do you mean SU10 is being used for roles tab? If so, is someone going to logon data and setting validity dates there and checking the change field?

If not, are you using some custom program or something else?

Is this a recent event or has something changed?

The issue got resolved, due to users already having expired date values in CUA

I was wondering if it was going to be SCUG/data transfer issue with different settings

Not sure if you are aware, but when CUA Master and child aren't in synch (i.e. refreshed and connecting your system), you can still edit global fields in child system in SU01. I've done this to clean up my data so when I use SCUG I get more matching users and then make the call whether I push all changes from CUA down or pull back up. But it is a good way to check the impacts
