Hi,

1.Those G/L accounts which are the Group Accounts i.e the head account at level one will be in black

2. Thise G/L accounts which are at a level lower to the Head account are marked in Blue and are also Title accounts

3. Those accounts which are in Light black are theose accounts which are active accounts

4. Those accounts which are in green are the accounts which have been entred in the G/L account deterrmination

Hope this helps.

For ex. When we have a balance indicating that we have to pay a customer, then it would be in green.

Normally, the customer pays us.

Whenever there is an imbalance, it will be indicated in green.

The ledgers that are defined(used) in 'Administration -> Setup -> Financials -> G/L Account Determination' are shown in GREEN colour in Chart of Accounts Window. Other GLs are shown in Black colour.
