Table for profit center

Hi

my user has update wrong profit centers in some FI douments. can any one tell me how to rectify or in which database table i can found the enteries.

or just identify all customizied controlling tables starting with T*

In FI/CO, GLPCT is the main table to store profit center in profit center accounting.

Hi,

First find out through which transactions those FI documnts have been generated with wrong profit centers . Find out the corresponding BAPI provided by SAP to change the data for that transaction. Pass the new profit center to the BAPI. This will update the corresponding tables.

If no BAPI is provided by SAP go for the change transaction and generate a BDC program and update the profit center.

Thanx for the reply. Actually i have 1 and half exp in SAP-ABAP and do not use BAPI's till now. Although I undergo SAP-ABAP training from Siemens but i am not comfortable with BAPI's. Can u just tell me how to serch and implement BAPI's, just little bit then i will do.
