How can we upload data from excel sheet to SNC system(Web UI)?

Dear Experts,

i am configuring the SNC SNI scenario, i was just wondering if we can upload supplier inventory(supplier data) data by any means to SNC directly from an excel sheet. Though its not a standard feature till SNC5.1 we can upload from excel sheet. can someone help me here, and tell me how exactly we can upload data this way?

my landscape is ERP-XI-SNC

Hi Binod,

How did you manage to achieve this? I have a similar requirement in the SMI Products details screen to upload an excel to the key figures grid.

Please do let me know the steps you followed towards achieving this.

this is a feature that SAP is providing from SNC7.0 onwards, now if you want to achieve the same result, you can do so by using proxy. that is the information i have got, havent yet implemented the same.

I am fairly new to SNC as well as APO. Could you please throw a little more light on as to how SPROXY can be used to upload an excel via the Web UI?

In 7.0, they introduced a subscribe function for suppliers. It's called Subscription Center. Suppliers can choose the functions in the SNC they want to subscribe. Then SNC will send a MS excel spreadsheet to the supplier automatically. After supplier edits the spreadsheet, the supplier needs to send to a specified email address. XI extracts the info from this address and convert it to the XML and update SNC. Basically supplier does not need to logon to the SNC web UI any more.

But for version lower than 7.0, upload function is still a custom design.

By this time I know you are able to figure out how. In my instance I am running program ROEMPROAT2 and RCMPROACT2 but nothing is happening. Maybe someone knows what other things to configure in here?

Hi Azmi,

The reports you mentioned are for the data uploading from ERP side. I wanted to upload data from an excel sheet to SNC web UI. this can be done using SPROXY(BAPI) programme interface.

Hi,

Check in /sca/dm_inv package. There is a Function module related to Set Inventory Data.

Write a report or custom FM using WS_UPLOAD to get the XL data into the program and Use the above mentioned FM to set the data in inventory.

Hi,

ROEMPROACT and RCMPROACT are the reports which send the Customer and Supplier inventory detail in SNC to sync both the inventory.

If the reports are not working then check the SXMB_MONI, whether the message failed to go to the SNC system. If there is no failure then check the same in SNC also if there are errors you 'll get to know here.

For this reports in SNC side you have the configuration on Product partner and location.

There is tool called Function Loader for data upload from excel sheet..which you can search more details on SAP marketplace...This tool uses BAPI's to create excel sheets and upload the data..You have find relevant BAPI for uploading the Supplier inventory data..
