Excel and excel data working fine but as you may know xls has some limitations (e.g.row- and column-count).

Therefore I would like to know if xlsx is supported as output format.

Hi Markus.

Crystal Reports for Eclipse still has the limitation where it does not export to XLSX, but if you are using the BI 4.x Java runtime then the XLSX format is available.

Hallo Dan,

thanks for your answer.

Currently we are using the runtime libraries from https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/SAP+Crystal+Reports+version+for+Eclipse+-+Downloads

Where can we get the BI 4 Java runtime from and is it compatible to the JRC?

We have no enterprise server - reports are always executed in the system where we deploy the reports.

Is it planned that JRC supports xlsx as output format?

Off topic: is there some kind of bug tracker to report bugs for JRC?

Hi Markus,

The BI4 Java runtime comes with BI 4. It is not available as a separate download. The code is compatible for both versions but the runtime itself cannot be mixed. The licensed copy does have more features than the Free CR for Eclipse version.

I'll see what I can find out about the Outer Join question.

Dan.

Hi Daniel,

hopefully you'll be informed about this reply. :-)

Do you have any news about my outer-join- or bugtracker-question?

Hi Daniel,

do you have some news about the outer join question?

Or is there some kind of bucktracker where I can report it?
