How to prevent Visual Studio 2003 from upgrading to CR2008 references

I have VS 2003 and both CR 9 and CR2008 installed on my pc. When I open up a project with VS 2003, I get the prompt asking if I want to convert the reports (originally cr9) to cr 2008. If I select the option to not convert, it still changes my references to the CR2008 libraries.

Anybody have any ideas on how to prevent this?

Thanks

I found the problem. When I installed CR 2008, I also installed the Crystal Reports 2008 for Visual Studio. This causes Visual Studio to upgrade the crystal references to CR 2008 during upgrades. It can be removed using add remove programs for Cr 2008 and removing that feature by modifiying the installation.
