IW_PGW component for Fiori Scenario Definition

Hi Experts,

I am developing one Fiori custom cost center approval application.

I was designing the custom workflow for decision making.

I have gone through below post of Masayuki.

I am not seeing Scenario Definition node in SPRO (Gateway system).

Below is the component status of our gateway system.

Is it mandatory to install IW_PGW component for enabling decision in fiori app or there is an alterante way ?

Hi Guys,

I have handled it using status management in ztable.

No need to use workflow to make it complex. As well as, i also didn't get any answer to the post.

in the questions for the blog you have referenced there is very similar issue to yours:

Q: Example, on my box, I don't have a SPRO folder called Task Gateway Service nore an activity called Scenario Definition.

A: Scenario definition is in Gateway side and not in ERP. It is a part of IW_PGW component.

You need to install IW_PGW component.

I want to know, if is it possible without installing that (any other alternative)?

If scenario definition is mandatory, then i have to coordinate with BASIS team for indtalling the missing component which will take time.
