Cannot save excise invoice

Hi Friends,

While saving the excise invoice i am facing with folllowing error.

BED : Debit = 120.00 Credit = 0.00 Diff = 120.00

Message no. 8I312

Hi Azeez

Please remove the immediate utilization tick for the time being and save it. Your excise invoice will be saved.

Check in logistic general-tax on goods movement-india-basic setting-maintain series group-Remove the tick from immediate utilization. Save it and now you can save the excise invoice.

Hi Azeez

Utilization is balance of debit and credit towards payment of Excise Dity to the Government.

To Illustrate with example:

Excise Duty collect from Sales: Rs 100/-

Excise Duty Paid towards Purchases: Rs. 70/-

As Per Utilization, Excise Duty Payable is : Rs. 30/-

Excise duty collected from Sales(Ex:Rs 100) is debiting or crediting and to which Account.

In addition to removing immidiate utilization also check if at

Logistics-General -> Tax on goods movement -> India -> Account Determination -> Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction

you have maintained the following for the excise TT DLFC

DLFC CR PLABED

DLFC CR PLACESS

DLFC CR PLAECS

It looks you dont have balance in Cenvat.

Hi srinu,

I maintained balances in RG23A BED A/c,RG23C BED A/c.

for which A/c exactlyi have to maintain balanes..

please help me...
