Go to Infoview > Preferences and then change the initialization user to PMUser and input the password.

You created the PMUser in the CMC?

yes

PMUser is in Administrator's group?

yes

Edited the properties file & saved it?

yes. any else need to modify in InitConfig.properties file?

---

initialization.CMSName=bo30:6400

initialization.User=PMUser

initialization.Password=xxxxxxx

initialization.Authentication=secEnterprise

initialization.CMSClusterName=bo30:6400

---

Restarted Tomcat? yes

Have the correct License? I think Evaluation Keycode "EPM BOE Premium Bundle for 3.0, 1xCPU, 30 days, C6S09-FUACP76-0001004-P1TV (exp: 2008-Sep-30)" should include Performance management?

Go to Infoview > Preferences and then change the initialization user to PMUser and input the password.

But in the end, still get error message that mentioned in Jacques's first message when click "dashboard setup"

Hi all,

I have the same problem if i try to start the setup of dashboard and analyitcs.

And if i logged in InfoView -> Preferences -> Dashboard & Analytics -> there is

no point to change the initialization user!

I set all the points which is in this tread descript but it still not work.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi gurus

Iam facing the same issue with the dashboard manager .

1Create a dummy XI3 enterprise account without a password

2.Modify the InitConfig.properties found in :\Program Files\Business Objects\Performance Management 12.0\

initialization.User=pmuser

initialization.Password=

3. Restart services .

4. Restart the Tomcat server .

5. Login to the Infoview application with administrator privileges and change the Initialization Logon User account with a proper XI3 account in Preferences -> Dashboard Analytics. This account (with encrypted password) should show up now on the file InitConfig.properties of Tomcat.

6. Tested the by going to Infoview -> Dashboard -> My Dashboard.

but still i havent resolved the issue

please guys can you help me out

Hi there,

the initialization user was not set so DM did not know how to start up.

I created a user in the CMC with no password called PMUser, added to the Administrators group... restarted Tomcat.

initialization.User=PMUser
initialization.Password=

Hope this helps

Jacques
