with the sap etc. 6.0 popup messages to the system I see only 8 of messages inserted by sm02 instead of the 15 entered.

Go to Menu bar, Select System->List->UnicodeDisplay->Dynamic O/P Length

the unicode display in not exist
they must have expired... when creating a message you can set the expire and deletion time/date
