Changing a testplan

Former Member

I have added new testdocuments in transaction SOLAR02, and I want them to be vissible in the already existing testplan.

When I go into change testplan in transaction STWB_2, I receive the message:

You wish to change a test plan that was created

on the basis of a template structure.

The selected test plan is in a test phase. At

least one test case has a test status.

If this test case is no longer in the template

structure or was removed from the test plan by

you, this test status will be lost.

Do you wish to change the test plan?

When I say yes, I am in the testplan.

The problem is that all the marks are grey. I can see my new test document, but I can not mark it an assign it to the testplan.

Any suggestions?

Best regards,

Terje

Alle the test documents have the same status "In processing".

I have not had any problems with this in earlier releases of SOLMAN.

We are running version 7.0.

Any other suggestions?

Addition is not possible in solman.

Changing the test plan means, only u can remove the existing one.You cannot include anything new.

If you want to add anything new, The only way is creating a new test plan.

It is possible to add documents in a test plan that is in a test phase, and that has test statuses.

If your additional test case was not possible to select when you have re-opened the ongoing test plan to change it, perhaps the following is relevant:

When you created the test plan in the first place (i.e. create test plan) you should decide to check or uncheck the Default setting "Only Released Documents". This is checked as a default, which means that you cannot select any test cases which are not released, The test case you are not able to select, since it is gray, may not be released. This means it does not have status released. This status is set in the test case attribute field in SOLAR02. Note that the status in your system that corresponds to the status "released" may also be defined as "finished", depending on wether there are client specific statuses.

Dear Fr,

Check the status of the new uploaded documents from solar02

It should be of the same Status like the previous one.

for e.g select any doc in solar02 in the test cases tab check the status of this document.

Also check if you are authorized to change the test plan.

Pls assign pts if it helps.
