our PO release strategy is set to accept changes in PO Amount for 0.1%
after release is started without restarting the release
(the Changeability of Purchasing Document During/After Release is set to6 in customizing for the released ID).
we have noticed the below system behavior which is unacceptable for
internal control purpose.
A PO of USD 5150000 for asset was created and released
this PO is made out of 4 line items
after release 2 line item amounted to USD 1750000 were deleted as these
2 assets are no longer required.
after the deletion a price revision for a PO item was made by
USD170000 was made and system didn't re-trigger the release strategy
despite that the amount bypass by far the tolerance on 0.1%
when testing this scenario we have notice that the system allows us to
change for an amount of USD 1750000 (= THE DELETED ITEMS) + THE 0.1%
without re-triggering the release strategy.
This is totally unacceptable as it open the room for a lot of
Manipulation in the PO that has deleted items without management approval
YOUR HELP in how to prevent the system from allowing this big amount of changes is highly appreciated
thanks in advance
