    Hi,

Master data uploading involves data base uploading for subsidiary ledgers such as Vendor, customer and Asset etc., whereas Transactional uploading involves records pertaining to your master data, such as Vendor balances, customer balances and asset balances.

In absolute condition, master data upload should be done first before your transactional upload as this transaction are master data dependents.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Rod

      Hi,

You will have to change your LSMW from the 1st step.

      1. In "Maintain Object Attributes", you have to change the field names for the repeated fields - in the screen you get after the recording with all the data and field names. Eg:

      Fields in Screen 1:

      XBLNR - Reference Document Number

      BKTXT - Document Header Text

      DOCID - Document type

NEWBS - Posting Key for the Next Line Item

NEWKO - Account or Matchcode for the Next Line Item

      Fields in Screen 2:

WRBTR - Amount in document currency

      VALUT - Value date

      ZUONR - Assignment number

      SGTXT - Item Text

NEWBS1 - Posting Key for the Next Line Item

NEWKO1 - Account or Matchcode for the Next Line Item

      2. In the step "Maintain Source Fields" Give the field sequence with the changed names as above example.

      Eg:

BLDAT Document Date in Document DATS 10

      BLART Document type CHAR 2

      BUKRS Company Code CHAR 4

BUDAT Posting Date in the Document DATS 10

      MONAT Fiscal period NUMC 2

      WAERS Currency Key CUKY 5

XBLNR Reference Document Number CHAR 16

BKTXT Document Header Text CHAR 25

NEWBS Posting Key for the Next Line Item CHAR 2

NEWKO Account or Matchcode for the Next Line Item CHAR 17

WRBTR Amount in document currency CURR 16

      VALUT Value date DATS 10

      ZUONR Assignment number CHAR 18

      SGTXT Item Text CHAR 50

NEWBS1 Posting Key for the Next Line Item CHAR 2

NEWKO1 Account or Matchcode for the Next Line Item CHAR 17

FMORE All additional account assignments CHAR 1

      PRCTR Profit Center CHAR 10

WRBTR1 Amount in document currency CURR 16

      VALUT1 Value date DATS 10

      ZUONR1 Assignment number CHAR 18

      SGTXT1 Item Text CHAR 50

FMORE1 All additional account assignments CHAR 1

      PRCTR1 Profit Center CHAR 10

That is all the changes you need to do to the LSMW. In the 5th step just check whether the fields are mapped properly; like the second line items fields should be mapped with the changed field values.

I suggest you do the LSMW from step 1 afresh. I cannot remember whether I have done a LSMW for f-02, but I have done for FB01. It is the same thing.

      Good Luck.

There is no difference between transactional data uploading and Master data uploading with LSMW.

    LSMW is mass data transaction.

If you want to upload multiple data in single time, at that time you can use LSMW.
