CIFing PPMs with old versions

Hi,

We have a material in R/3 for a plant that we have 2 versions, A and B, in MRP4 tab. Both the versions were valid till 12/31/9999 and so there are 2 PPM created on APO side. But recently one of the version's validity date was changed to 08/25/2008. Now the version in MRP4 shows valid to date of version A as 08/25/2008 but the PPM in APO still has valid to date 12/31/9999.

I checked the integration model in CFM2, it does not have the versionA now and hence the changes are not getting sent to APO.

What is my solution for this issue? Should I manually change everything when I change the dates in R/3? there are so many products and it's hectic.

Here is how my PPM integration model is setup:

material dependent objects:

General selection options for materials: Plant:XXXX, MRP type X0

PPM checked:

PPM

Type of PPM: Prod.Plans

Usage: 1(Production)

PPM selection date: 3 (Resolution According to End Date of Production Version)

Changing the version dates in MRP4 tab ( actually for BOM or routing) is a common thing done. But the PPMs on R/3 need to be updated so that they cannot be used. How is this best handled?

Thanks.
