Software Component Version cannot be changed after Importing Objects

Hi Gurus,

I was trying out the import export function of XI. I export a message mapping and then re-import it back into XI. However, after doing that, it is telling me that the Software Component Version cannot be changed. I'm now unable to make any changes to any of the objects.

Is there anyway to go ard this?

Hi,

Double click on the Software component version in IR, Right side it will show the contents of that version.

in the bottom of the page there is "Object properties" ,check the checkbox "objects modifiable".

Then u are able to change the objects.

Hi,

I tried ticking the check box. But its giving me the following warning

Originality indicator for the software component version set later Ensure that the software component version only contains one original repository

i ignored the error and activate the change list.

However, im still unable to make changes. I tried ticking the "Original Objects" as well but still unable to change.

For the error "Software component version cannot be modifiable"

Under SAP PI 7.3.1 java stack, the software component version can be modified in NWDS.

1. Double Click Software Component

2. Under software component vesion details context

3. On properties

4. You find Object Properties

5. Check the option "Objects are Original" and "Objects are modifiable"

Also solved my problem, I am adding the image of where to maracda the option, and after marked the application must be restarted.

this regarding the parameters in SWCV

check the parameters in SWCV

check objects are modifiable and check objects are original objects.

before you export.
