Escape sequence in smartform

Hi All,

I am trying to print a dynamic field 'd1' of type icon_d(symbol).

I have assigned checkbox id(selected from the ICON table) to this global variable in the program lines.

In the text script how should I type this variable. I tried <(>&d1&<)> and various combinations. But it does not print a checkbox.

instead you can use <697>

this you get it from INSERT->Characters->Sap Symbols from the text line editior.

here you can choose that icon.
