My machine has Crystal Reports 8.5 and 11i. I developed a report that includes a blob field in 8.5 When I run the report, I see the data in the field (a signature captures from a touchscreen device). When the report is run on a machine that does not have CR 8.5 installed, they can see the text data but no data in the blob field.
Any ideas on why? Are there .dll's I need to put on the non-developer machines to make this work?
There is also a problem with some date functions that work on my machine but not on non-developer machines. But the blob field is more important. Thank you

How are you running the reports on the machines that do not have Crystal Reports installed? Are you using Crystal Enterprise or an application you've created?
Are you using the developer edition of Crystal Reports 8.5 ?

Our application has a reporting feature that allows the user to enter parameters and then runs .rpt files and displays the crystal report. Canned reports in the app are Crystal 7.
When I customize reports, I do it in 8.5. So far, the only problem has been a few date and string functions that do not work on the average user's machine.
I have Crystal Developer on my machine for 8.5 and 11i.
The average user has no Crystal Reports s/w installed.
Is the license agreement for Crystal Reports 8.5 per CPU or concurrent user?
