Hi,
I am trying to establish a Principal Propagation Connection from HCP to on-premise ECC system. My destinations and connections all "check" successfully, however when trying to import Applications from ECC via WebIDE, I get the error that "Failed to Get The Applications".
Within SAP Cloud Connector, I have installed the system and CA certs and loaded the corresponding public keys into the backend ECC system. The propagation configuration is setup just to pass CN=${name}, which it is doing successfully after reviewing the ICM logs (ie. the cert from Cloud Connector has the correct structure and information). I have also tried CN=${email} and the email address is passed instead.
Every time however, the following information is shown in the Cloud Connector Log, which I presume is the cause of the issue:
DEBUG#com.sap.core.connectivity.tunnel.client.sso.CallerPrincipalProviderImpl#tunnelclient-4-1#0xf6f30f18#Unassigned principal 'Sxxxxxxxxxxx'
...where 'Sxxxxxxxxx' is my HCP user ID.
I have tried also configuring certrule and extid_dn in ECC to map my HCP user ID to my SAP user ID, but doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any idea what might be causing this problem, or suggestions on how to track down the cause?
Thanks for your help!
Todd

FYI. There is a good document for setting up the Cloud Connector.
