ITS mobile Menu Button Click not working in Motorola MC 2180 RF device

0 Kudos

Hi All,

We have developed a custom RF menu and published an ITS mobile service in SAP with the following service Paramaters.

~ITSMOBILE 1
~TRANSACTION lm01
~THEME 99
~SOURCE zrfmenu, itsmobile01
~POPUPS 1

Also published the following Mobile services:

ITSMOBILE, SYSTEM, ITSGENMOBILE ,ITSGENMOBILE4, ITSGENMOBILEXV

Created HTML templates from the custom screens for ITS service

zrfmenu and logical/actual screen assignment is also done in SPRO.

We can access the ITS service link in Internet explorer on Laptop or in Motorola 2180 RF device. The main MENU screen appears with all buttons and if we click the button it is not taking to next screens and the function Keys is also not working.

whereas in SAP LM01 transaction it takes to next screens perfectly.

I refered SAP note 2242078 for ITS service creation.

Could you please share some ideas on how this issue can be solved?

Do we need to use different browser than IE in the RF device

Hi Dineshkumar,

Please try the following:
a. Publish all templates with transaction SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT to make sure all templates are up to date (especially for the generator used);
b. Execute transaction SIAC_REGENERATE_TEMPLATES and re-generate the templates of the ITSmobile service with the preferred generator (recommended generating style: "Mobile Devices (No HTML Tables)" - [MOBILE4] );
c. Publish all templates with transaction SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT to make sure the re-generated templates will take effect.

What happens then?

You can use the RF device browser. Please read SAP note 1093513 for some details.

Cris

Hi Cristiano,

Thanks for your answer.

I tried the steps a, b and c as per the instructions still after the button click it does not navigate from RF menu to next screens.

Yes I read the note 1093513 details and we shall use RF device browser. But the same issue happening in IE browser on the computer, so I really have a doubt something else is there.

Regards,

Dinesh
