Dear Sir/Mam
I have created org unit with validity 01.01.2001 - 31.12.9999. But it was supposed to be created from 01.01.1900- 31.12.9999.
Is it possible to change the start date. If yes, how can i do it?

Hi,
You can change it. Use PPOME option
1. Change the Date and preview period to the date from which you wanted to create the object
2. Ensure that the start date of the parent object is within or greater than the start date of your object
3. make the changes to the notice period of the object and save the changes
Once you have done this you can make changes to the relationship infotype of this object by using transaction code pp01 and making the changes to the relationship infotype.

Hi Harshavardhan,
Yes, you can change the Valid date of a Org unit. Please follow the stepd as below:
T code: PPOME - Select your Org Unit. In the detail area you will find a graphical button just upside of the valid date called as DISPLAY PERIOD. Click on it. Now you can edit the Valid From Period.
Though you change the date, history will tell the key date of the org uint as the previous date that you have created it. If you want to chech it again TCODE: PPOM_OLD. Select your org unit and check the dates.
Hope this gives you the answer.
if found useful award points.
