Work center creation

Hi experts,

When i have create work center it show error " Work center AM-610 in plant 1000 already exists. how can i reselove this?

Hi Kumar,

It means that work center with the label which you are trying to create is also created. So, one option is to create the required with other label.

As our friends said, once master data related to material master, work center, routing cannot be created again. You can edit the work center i.e., description or delete it.

There are two ways one thing is create work centre with other name and second thing is delete the earlier bom if you want the same work centre name.

You can't create a workcenter by a name that already exists in your plant. If u want to create a new workcenter, u have to choose a name that doesn't exist for ur plant.

Otherwise, if u need a workcenter by the same key, u may edit that in CR02 as per ur requirements.

ur trying to create work center which is already present for that plant.

either u do it by using different name

Hi,

The message that you are getting "Work center AM-610 in plant 1000 already exists."

Means that you have already created workcenter AM-610 in plant 1000.

Now you give any other name eg. AM-611, to create new work center.
