IoT AE thing modeler not displaying the measurement values

Hi Team,

Currently i am facing some strange issue in the IoT AE thing modeler, where the thing which is connected with 4.0 CF IoT Service provider showing the measured values only if the configurations are followed in the below sequence,

• Create Device in the Service Cockpit->Create a Thing in the IoT AE thing Modeler->Make a Connection b/w Devices/sensors with IoT AE Things->Send data to device (Working)
• Create Device in the Service Cockpit->Send data to device->Create a Thing in the IoT AE thing Modeler->Make a Connection b/w Devices/sensors with IoT AE Things(This is not working).

Please let us know if that is a best approach,

Both approaches should be working. I have seen both working in the past. Please create a ticket on component IOT-AE-APB-TM if one of the approaches is not working and let me know via the comments how it goes.

It should even be the case, that if you create the mapping later, then entries in the message broker (Kafka), that are sitting there for up to one week, should still come across ingested "into the past".
