Dear Sir,

We have a scenario that initial Std Cost was Rs 10000 for a specific HALB Material as per the released cost run . Subsequently a Production Order was released for this Material . After release of Production Order , we have modified the Std Cost for the Material to Rs 12000 .

Now we want that Production Order should refer the Std Cost as 12000 not the earlier one of 10000 .

In report S_ALR_87013127 against this Production Order Std Cost is still appaering as Rs 10000 only .

Pl guide us as how can the Production Order read the Std Cost as 12000 not the 10000 .

Pl help us .

Rgds

Hi

Based on your query I understand that you have changed the Std cost in the material master after releasing the production order and you want the planned cost to be 10000 to 12000, try using Read PP Master data functionality in the CO02 Screen, when you run this function the changes you had made in the master data will be reflected on the production order and the order status will be reset as CRTD which you could release.

Please give me the feedback.

You have two options

When you create a production order, system will calculate the planned cost from the routing and BOM read in production order and std cost for product

Hence the equation is as below

Raw material cost + 700

Activity cost + 300

Product Cost - 1000 (read from Material master-std cost)

Balance is ZERO.

Now you have changed the std cost of product.

Now if you have changed the std cost you need to recalculate the cost which will read the present cost. and items are as below

Raw material cost + 700

Activity cost + 300

Product Cost - 1200 (read from Material master-std cost)

Balance is - 200.

Hi,

Target cost comes from the standard price calculated when doing a costing run. Actual costs are costs that you incur during the production order (we can reassign costs during the order so this could be different from the standard price).
