I wanted to know the significance of the determination of industry sector while doing inventory extraction through LO Cockpit.

Path SBIW->Settings for Application-Specific Data Sources (PI)->Logistics-> Settings: Inventory Controlling->Determine Industry Sector.

When do we choose standard (core) ,or retail or none or CP Industry.Why do we do this ,what is its significance.

Hi Ankit,

Industry sector selection decides the process key generation.

These are the process keys used in data extraction of material mangement like material movements, purchasing.
