Composite Provider issue with Join operation of two Open ODS views

As per the project requirement I need to join two different Open ODS views for table VBAP and VBRP in the same composite provider. After activating it I am getting the below error:

Infoprovider "ABCD" is not allowed.

(In CompositeProviders that contain join operations, all InfoProviders must have a column view on the SAP HANA database. This is not the case with the InfoProvider "". If the InfoProvider is a (reusable) CompositeProvider, all of its PartProviders must have a column view.)

If anyone knows this issue, please guide me how to solve it.

Hi Sheetal,

what kind of open ODS view do you use (source type)? If you use the source type "Databe table or view" it should work. The setting "CalcScenario used" should be set to yes.

Hi Matthias,

Thanks for your answer.

I am using Open ODS view with source type "Database table or view" but the setting "CalcScenario used" is (No). Is it necessary to change the setting for join condition because union condition works for the same? One more thing I tried to edit the setting "CalcScenario Used" as yes but this option is not enabled for me.

I have attached screenshots from Eclipse modeling tool and SAP GUI.

Could you please suggest me how to change it?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Sheetal

Hi Sheetal,
could you please check if the following KBA clearifies why it is not possible to change the setting to "yes".

Thanks for your reply..

SNOTE provided by you is for SP08. We are having system version HANA SP18. Do you think it shows the same limitations and prerequistes?
