Presence hidden working as invisible

Hi all,

I'm having troubles hiding a subform placed into the master page. It is going invisible instead of hiding. I mean the parent subform is not shrinking, all the elements below the "hidden" subform remains at the same position but content inside the "hidden" subform is invisible.

I have the following subform structure:

Subform1 -> Flowed (Top to Bottom)

Subform1.1-> Flowed(Top to Bottom)

(some children texts)

Subform1.2-> Flowed(some children texts)

Then at the initialize and docReady events for subform1.1 I have the following JavaScript (Running at client):

if($record.GV_VISIBLE.value != "X"){ this.presence = "hidden"; }

The content of the Subform1.1 becomes invisible but the space remains empty and the content of the Subform1.2 remains in the same place as if the Subform1.1 was visible.

I already tried setting he parameter

SFPDOCPARAMS-DYNAMIC = 'X'.

Changing the presence through the Object -> Subform palette works as I expected.

I forgot to say that also tried setting the presence to "hidden" through Object -> Subform palette and changing it to "visible" with scripting and the element does not become visible at all.

Does anybody knows what can I be missing?

Regards,

Gregory.

Solved by my own,

As these subforms are part of the footer (nothing else is shown after them) I created two subforms and make it overlap, then through the script (event initialize) show one or another depending on the condition.

Gregory.
