I set an order to TECO then i did 261 and 262 movements.ques. below

1) what will happen if we set an order to TECO?

2) if i do 261 and 262 movements after TECO,why it is posted to that order?

3) if i do 261 and 262 movements after TECO, why it is not picking the reservation?- as far I know, TECO will set the deletion indicator(item deleted) for Reservation number.

Hi Akilan,

Though after Technically completing order, in standard SAP system, you can still post 261/262 without referring to Order's reservation number. These are standard setting. If you want to avoid it then either you need to do below settings or you can go for User status profile.

In Transaction code BS22, double click at I0045 (Technically completed) and then change RMWA (Goods Movement) from Allowed to Forbidden.

BS22 transaction codes settings are at Client level and if you have other module orders (like Maintenance order, Internal order etc.) then it will be better to go for User Status Management. Below blog you may use for that

User status profile

Hello,

1) what will happen if we set an order to TECO?

If you Set the TECO to the order, reservation will get closed and As Jessica said no more 261/262 expected

2) if i do 261 and 262 movements after TECO,why it is posted to that order?

Because SAP given that multiple options so that later also you can issue the material to the order .If you wants to block you can use user status profile.

3) if i do 261 and 262 movements after TECO, why it is not picking the reservation?- as far I know, TECO will set the deletion indicator(item deleted) for Reservation number.

If the order set to TECO reservation will get closed. So it will not pick.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Akilan,

TECO means orders are techinacally closed, thus 261/262 is not expected any more.

May I ask how you execute 261 and 262?

Best regards,

Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Sorry for not replying sooner.

I executed 261 and 261 of order from MES system via Z_matmov messages.

Not sure about the standard functionality, but i found we can do goods movements if order is in teco status, it will get posted but it wont fetch reservation number.

Can you please explain me? what is actual configuration of process order?

Cheers

Akilan
