section on extra page

Hello,

i want to display my section("f") on an extra page for example on the last page as a summary of all our sales estates

and not within rest of my report (section a-e)

Can i switch a sektion or is there another possibility.

I use CR 08 and Excel as database.

Using subreports could make technical problems, because i want to use this report with different Excel-Lists.

Thanks

    thank you for your answers.

A summary is not realy what i need, in this "summary" should be shown about 20 datasets (each with 10 fields ) per report.(two complete sections)

I tried to get along with the subreport but there i have my problems with the exceldatabase.

(at the moment we use the same report for many estate portfolios)

With the subreport i have to change the database two times (report/subreport) and excel want to give me the total sheet instead of my 100 datasets

I thought that i can handle this problem with the sectionAssistent?

    Regards

You want to show the summary of the data printed on a separate page?

From what you reported, it seems that all information is printed in sections and 'A'...'E', and in the 'F' would you like to print the summary.

Probably in this section 'F', you already have the data that are part of the summary.

See if you can do this:

      - Since you only want to print after all data are listed, then you delete this section while the page is full of <> of the page that displays this report. Ex: PageNumber <> TotalPageNumber;

      - To display in a new page, affect the report, (in the 'F') to create a new page after Total pages of the report.

      I hope help ...

      Att, Fabricio.

thank you for your answer but this unfortunately not the solution.

I don´t need a page break, but an extra page, where all my data from this section ("f") is shown in.

If you right-click on the section and choose Section Expert, you can click the property "New Page Before" and this forces a page break before it is printed.

    Hi,

You can create a Subreport and can place it in the report footer section of the main report.

You can perform all the calculation in the subreport and display the summary in it.

    Hope this helps you.
