Dear SAP user,
Account keys and Conditions are defined for Excise, Purchase and Sales.
In case of Excise Account keys are created through tcode OBCN and condition types are created through tcode OBQ1.
In case of sales account keys are created through V/06 and and condition types created through tcode OV34.
In case of Purchase account keys are created through path IMG --> Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Conditions --> Define Price Determination Process --> Define Transaction/Event Keys and condition types are created through M/06.
Condition types and account keys appear in the FTXP as per our assignment in tax procedure. Tax procedure is created through transaction code OBQ3.

Hi
Account Key controls the type of taxes like Input Tax, Output Tax, Sales Tax. The type of percentage has to be maintained in FTXP with tax code. When it comes to Condition types all Tax types are to be maintained the Condition Records. Based on this Business Transactions are posted.
