Send PO via mail to Vendor (ME9F)

Hi,

is it possible to send the PO to more than 1 recipient? I am able to send the PO via email as PDF attachment to the recipient maintained on Vendor Master Address set as "Standard", but I would like to send the same email also to the other recipients maintained but NOT set as "Standard".

Can this be done?

Hi,

We can create a group mail id and maintain the group mail id in the vendor master. So when ever the mail sent to the particular mail the groups belongs to the mail id will receive the mails.

Hi Gab,

I don't think you can do this without having multiple partner roles.

A workaround we did in a previous project, also to have the possibility to modify the e-mail text, was to send the e-mail with pdf-attachment always to the buyer who then manually send the e-mail to the vendor e-mail address(es). Depends probably a bit on the volume of purchase orders you are talking about.

If multiple e-mail addresses are the exception, the buyer could also change the recipient manually to himself when creating the purchase order.

Hi Gab

This can't be done automatically. If you want to send to additional vendors you need to maintain another email address in the vendor master, then after the 1st send, switch the email address in the vendor master and send the PO. Then be sure to switch the vendor master back to the primary reciepient.

You can send mail any no of peoples but maintain the E mail

ID in the Vendor master.
