Hi Team,

I am trying to set up Hadoop cluster as ILM store for HANA system and while creating store in ILMSTOREADM following error occured-

598: Input or output error (triggered during access to file system, WebDAV, or data stream; see long text

ilmstoreadm.png

RFC connection is successful. Let me know if someone has faced similar issue while connecting store in SAP.

Thanks,

Hi Darshan,

Yes ILM_STORE_ADMIN switch is on and also TILM_STOR_CUS_P is set to 2.

Ticket is created for support and issue is tracked under-

123050 / 2018 SAP ILM STORE connectivity with HADOOP Cluster

Thanks,

Jinal

Hi Jinal,

There might be many reasons. Assuming that ILM_STOR switch is on, To start with check whether the SAP_ILM_CONFORMANCE value in TILM_STOR_CUS_P is set to 2.

or request for support from SAP.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Jinal,

There are many basic customizations missing, for example, at first look ,the customization to take HDP DB operator class is missing, HTTP to Hadoop is wrong as the URL is passing OP parameter(, and may be many more . Please follow the Hadoop config document.

Usually messages are for bug fixes and not for entire set of wrong customizations. Consulting should be the right approach.

Nevertheless, you can as well wait for ILM support team to take up the message and help your scenario.

Thanks and Regards,

Dharshan A

Hi Darshan,

Implementing Class: CL_ILM_STOR_DB_OPERATOR_HDP is maintained in table:TILMSTOR_CF

While creating RFC if we are not passing path prefix with op we are facing 400 error (it was suggested by SAP ICM support )

I have followed all steps of Hadoop Connector Configuration Guide -

https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100018636852015E/HadoopConGuide740SP13.pdf

If you see any mismatch or any config missing please do let me know since I am struggling with connection from sometime now.

Thanks,

Jinal

HI ,

Does any one have solution for this issue. ? am trying to establish the httpfs(Hadoop storage) connection from ILM . Used the connection path prefix like /webhdfs/v1/t?op=gethomedirectory&user.name=hanaes. its connecting but not able to read/write the files. If I use /webhdfs/v1/users/hanaes encountering OP parameter issue so I kept above value in path prefix . Kindly help me on this case.

Sm59 connection is successful but ilmstoreadm encountered the 598 error .
