No batch # showing in MMBE for open receipt reservation for PM order

Hello Gurus,

We have an open reservation for a PM order.

It is for movement 961 (a copy of 261 mov't). In it we have a line for a batch managed component with negative qty. which essential for 962 movement. Information like plant, storage location, batch # are copied from the order. Go to MMBE for the component and I see the qty. under "Rcpt reservation" column however there is no batch #.

This happens only on a particular component and not happening on other components.

Is there something I can check or make change so the batch # displays in MMBE for the component in question?

Your input would be appreciated.

Eddie

I figured out why a particular batch # didn't show up in MMBE.

As it turns out, the batch # in question didn't have a record created in MCHB table.

The reason I suspect is all the transaction for the batch was for customer stock (special stock indicator = B)

which is on plant level and none was for the plant/storage location level.

Check if this SAP note is applied to your system 1924753 - MMBE not showing reservation for batch

if not, then do it and test again.

Applied the note but it didn't help.

Just a reminder that the problem is the batch # not showing up for a "Rcpt reservation" column in MMBE.

Does your record in RESB table have a batch number?

Yes, RESB has a batch number.

I compared it with the one that does display a batch #.

The one that didn't display a batch # in MMBE has XFEHL (missing part) field checked and the one that does display a batch # has XFEHL field blank. My question is then on what situation XFEHL field gets flagged as both examples don't have any onhand stock.

Does anybody have any advise on this?
