Progress Calculation

66 Views

Hi Experts ....

I want to calculate Progress in my project.....I studied the Cost Propertinality method from help.sap.com...but most of places I confused .....I have calculate progress data according to as I under stand ...please clear me ..my concept is clear or any other place i am doing wrong....

Overall Plan Cost 100000

For Four Periods i devided the plan cost and actual cost 25000 , Equal for all periods.

For Period 1st

Plan Cost 25000

Actual Cost 20000

Overall Cost 100000

Plan POC (Plan Cost for Period 1/Overall cost)%

so Plan POC (25000/100000)%=25%

Actual POC (Actual Cost for Peiod 1/Overall Cost)%

So Actual POC(20000/100000)%=20%

Now BCWS= Plan POC * Overall Cost=25%*100000=25000

BCWP=Actual POCOverall Cost =20%100000=20000

ACWP=20000

For Pwriod 2

Plan Cost (Plan Cost for period 1Plan Cost for period 2)=2500025000=50000

Actual Cost (Actual Cost for Period 1Actual Cost for period 2)=2000019000=39000

Overall Cost =100000

So Plan POC=50000/100000=50%

Actual POC=39000/100000=39%

Now BCWS=50%*100000=50000

BCWP=39%*100000=39000

ACWP=19000

is this right concept ...please clear me I am taking right values for ACWP?

if anybody has some supportive data please share with me at ramas dot sap at g mail dot com

Thanks & Regards
