hi,

please follow these steps :

1 Run the Transaction MDM_CLNT_EXTR in T-code Bar.

2. After running the Transaction the Configuration settings we need to do for particular Variant. In variants can select an existing variant using the input help, or alternatively enter the name of a new variant. If you select an existing variant, you cannot change the fields for selecting the extraction object and the distribution mode.

3. Here extraction object defines which object type or types are to be extracted. An extraction encapsulates several components like the used IDOC/ XML structure, selection

fields, function modules to extract the data, and so on.

4. We define a target system to which the data is sent. The system must be defined as receiver for corresponding messages to the extraction object in distribution customizing. If no system is defined, the receiver is determined when the extraction is performed based on the distribution customizing. The target system must be a valid system of the System Landscape Directory.

5. The block size defines the maximum number of objects that may be sent at one time with a Message. If the amount of selected objects is larger than the block size, youu2019ll send several Messages to your target system.

6. After doing all initial screens setting for a particular variant we need to save this after that we will have the options. After that we will start with the Extraction.

7. To start the extraction, you have to save the current variant. Then start the extraction with the appropriate button or from the menu. The extraction is performed as a job in the background.

8. After completion of jobs we will move to job Logs.

9. We can get an overview of the background jobs with the Display Jobs button. Information about the extractions that were performed is displayed. To display any messages during the extraction, Select a job and call the job log.

10.After Completion of job it will show the message Job finished and this will Move to XI. Where XI will get the IDOC and convert it to .XML format.

Hope it helps
