You can use any OData service (v2 supported) e.g. exposed via on-premise systems like SAP Gateway, SAP HANA , even 3rd party or publicly available in order to use Offline OData framework in SAP CP SDK for iOS , make sure that these service(s) should be accessible by SAP Cloud Platform . You may check here how various destinations are configured in SAP Cloud Platform Mobile services.
What do you mean when you say - "make sure that these service(s) should be accessible by SAP Cloud Platform"? Note : we are not using SAP Cloud Platform.
Offline OData relies on a SAP Cloud Platform service to produce the offline database on SAP Cloud Platform and sync it with the device. Offline OData cannot connect to the backend directly.
