Hi
We use a standard MSS package/page/iview for delivering som employee data for our managers. Now we want to hide the marital status from the iview.
hr.mss.pg.employee_info/hr.mss.iv.generalinfo_personaldata
We have tried to hide the field in the iview (via the role) but it doesnt change anything for the users. You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hi ,
Follow Below steps.
1.Just Preview that ess Overview page and Personal data Page with administrator user in portal.
2. Right-click on the control on which you want to hide.
3. Choose User setting and hide that element. Save the changes. It will be hide from all the employees.
P.S. Make sure you are performing this activity who has administrator access+ valid 105 mapping.

Thanks for your answer 🙂
Actually we already tried exactly what you quide us to do. And for the administrator it Works - but for all other MSS users it doesnt change anything. Even if we do the change to the iview through the role.
Do you know how to kind of distribute / publish / activate the change so it Works for all users?
Best regards
You don't mention which MSS version/package you are using. In general, there are a couple of places this happens depending on "what" you are doing...
1. FPM application configuration (ie. create you own custom FPM configuration with the fields you want shown).....you see more of this when modifying the "HR Professional" pages/screens.
2. Employee Profile.....ie "card" configuration....done mainly via the IMG...can be "tricky" at first if you don't understand how it all ties together...but once you do, it is soooo easy...and you can even use a BAdI to pull data for other fields you want to add on "cards" too.

Dear Claus,
You can create enhancement to WD ABAP application HRMSS_EMP_OVERVIEW_PROFILE and hide this field from visible field properties, You can take help of ABAP technical consultant and do it.
Hope it helps.
