Crystal Reports 2008 data types mismatch

Hi,

I have a table (Oracle 11.2) WALY_PRZECIWPOWODZIOWE, which last attribute DLUGOSC_WALU is NUMBER(8,3) type. After connecting in CR2008 this data type is displayed as Date/time.

The problem occurs in our customer's machine (Windows XP). while on my developer machine it works properly. What can be the reason?

Crystal Reports makes decision based on what returned from Connectivity layer - driver.

What is the connection used for the report? ODBC or Native?

What is the version of Oracle client installed on the XP machine?

Looks like all the fields are different datatypes.

Is report based on a view or tables. If a view it could be that client site is running an old or incorrect view
