Deletion of table entries and locking in transport

I am trying to delete a particular table entry from an 'S' table. However there is no popup for the TR to lock this entry for deletion in. The recording routine is standard recording routine. In the task also, there is no particular way of knowing whether the activity is delete or not. Could someone suggest a way for doing this?

Regards

Rushda

    Hi Rushda,

not sure if I really understand your request, but if you try to transport (the deletion of) a table-entry, you can always do so by manually adding a R3TR TABU-Entry to your transport request:

Again, this probably is not the (full) answer to your question, and certainly not S/4HANA-specific.

Maybe you can try to explain again what you actually want to achieve?

    best

    • Hi Joachim,

In our scenario, we wanted to transport a certain number of entries to an 'S' type table which is filled in the dev landscape via a report program. In all other systems, we would simply refer to the table from the relevant modules. When this table is initially filled it also includes a few Z entries which cannot be transported hence we needed to remove them.

The only other thing to add here would be to ensure that the table entry no longer exists in the system when the transport entry is created and is being released. I have tried it in the S/4HANA landscape and it works. Thank you!
