Log the message payload

Hello,

We have a HTTP --> RFC synchronous scenario.

We have 8 fields in request but we want to log only 6 of them in XI. The other 2 fields should not be logged anywhere in XI.

Is that possible?

Thanks,

Beena.

You can use message level security and hide the entire payload or let it to visible for people with the right authorizations.

It is not possible to mask only a few fields and open the other fields for monitoring.

Considering that it is 2 fields, I am assuming that it is User ID and pwd and hence I guess it would make more sense to do this in 2 steps, Login and then the required business / integration process.

      Thanks Eric, Srinivas, Bhavesh.

We are sending this data through XI during pre authorisation and not after authorisation and PCI requirement is to not to store the data after authorisation.

However I will be still interested if SAP gives some solution to not to log the sensitive data or disable logging at field level.

Please update the thread when you get the solution as this will be really helpful.

      Thanks again for your help,

      Beena.
