311 movement is allowing for 413 movement job

Dear friends

We have one different error with our client. The users are transfering the sale order stock materail from one location to another sale order , storage location thro 311 movements.

But as you all are aware sale order to sale order transfer is 413 only. But 311 is allowing . How to restrict this one?Can you suggest please

Hi Thenna,

The problem might not be with Mov.Type but 'Special Stock' Indicator.

While using 311 don't use indicator 'E'.

While you need to transfer stock from one S.Order to another S.Order then only use 'E' indicator (Alongwith 413 m.type)

Dear 311 E may required for transfer with in sale order . also OMWN field selection is it not help since i want to make the hide field of sale order at destination area only . so that while putting sale order at transfer place default it will come at destination field not changable.

Actually for the 413 movement type the reference movement type for WM from material movements is 311.

This mean that each Inventory Management movement type that is relevant to the WM system is allocated to a reference movement type, with which the system determines the corresponding movement type in the WM system.

Using the reference movement type, you can group together Inventory Management movement types that result in the same movement in the WM system.

Inventory Management movement types that do not initiate any activity in the Warehouse Management System have the reference movement type 999.
