Hello,
Why doesn't HANA Client 2.0 contain the Python Runtime anymore?
Thanks, Ingo
As a guess from my side: why distribute a reduced version of Python with the DB client software, when practically every OS, Windows aside, comes with Python pre-loaded? For Windows, if once wants to use Python, then using one of the standard distros is probably better anyhow.
Personally I have been looking at this from the other side: why does the HANA client put yet another Python on my system (which I won't ever use)?
