Passing parameter to BI iViews

Dear All

We are working on EP 7.0 SPS 13.

We have connected our SAP Enterprise Portal with SAP BI 7.0.

We configured SSO and created system for connecting to BI system.

My requirements are as below:

We are developing a web dynpro application. This application will contain some links that will call the BI iViews of portal. We will pass some parameters to these iViews and should get the reports.

We do not want selection screen to appear. We want to pass the parameters from EP and BI reports should open directly.

We have tried to pass the parameters through the Application Parameters and Parameters Forwarded to BEx Web Application in BI iView but unfortunately this is not working. We are able to see the passed parameters in the URL of the iView but the same paramters are not even appearing in the selection screen.

Kindly guide me how to achieve this.

I have already referred to some links on sdn but have not found them much helpful.

Also, is it necessary to perform the steps given in the link below ?

or just the creation of system and SSO is sufficient.

Kindly note that we are trying to connect EP 7.0 with BI 7.0 and not BI Java Portal to BI ABAP system.

Hello Vineet,

Yes u have to follow each and every step that is given in Doc actuallt all the configuration that are show are the steps that u have to take for creation of Systen and SSO b/w Portal and BW syatem

Please do take care that u select Doc specific to ur version the doc that u have shown does not matchs ur version .
